The Banzai Aqua Tech Transmorpher - Hot New Water Gun This Summer!

!±8± The Banzai Aqua Tech Transmorpher - Hot New Water Gun This Summer!

Banzai is probably best know for their backyard water slides, but they have recently expanded their toy isle line to include water guns. The Banzai Aqua Tech Transmorpher in particular seems to be gaining a lot of interest so I thought I would give it a go and test it out.

We love to have options and the futuristic looking Banzai Aqua Tech Transmorpher gives you the option to change barrels for different tactical situations. The Aqua Tech Transmorpher comes with 5 different parts, the Triple Stream Blaster (main body of water gun), shoulder stock/tripod, targeting scope, and a long range barrel. As Banzai advertises, these 5 parts can make morph into 11 different combinations, effectively giving you 11 different guns in one.

The Triple Stream blaster can be used on its own as a compact water pistol. Without the long range barrel on it, the range was about 15 ft. for the 3 streams of water. The long range barrel twists and clicks onto the nozzle, channeling the 3 streams into one and giving it more distance, up to about 25 ft. The range of 25 ft. is pretty consistent with other water guns of the same size and capacity.

You can add the shoulder stock by pushing it in and snapping it into place and you can simply pull it back out to take it off. This makes the conversion process pretty quick when you need to become more mobile. The tripod also snaps into the bottom of the long range barrel so you can use it to help keep the Transmorpher steady if you are laying in a prone position and waiting for your perfect shot. The scope mounts onto a tactical rail on the top and helps magnify some but in close range it seems better to not use it. It sure looks pretty cool though and you can stack the long range barrel onto the tactical rail on the top of the Transmorpher and then stack the scope on top of that for a mean looking pistol!

Overall it's a pretty solid water gun. With about a 100 ML capacity, you might get soaked if you going up against someone with a high capacity water gun like the Water Warriors Gorgon, but we were able to get about 40 shots off with the Transmorpher before needing to reload. Thats plenty of shots for a heated exchange. It also doesn't seem to leak much because is has a rubber-like plug where you load it, and that's definitely a plus!
